The programme of common initiatives shall focus on:

1. Creation of new space-related enterprises.
2. Awareness raising of citizenship on space-related issues.
3. Attraction of foreign investments directly related to space.
4. Structuring of the dialogue with the university world.
5. Construction and promotion of partnership networks for specific projects.

Action for the creation of new enterprises

– The Lazio Region and the Municipality of Colleferro are studying an action to support new innovative enterprises in the Space sector. In particular, the Parties will verify the possibility of an action within the scope of Lazio Innova activities aimed at:

– Locating start-ups active in the Space sector in the Colleferro area;

– Promote connections between start-ups specialised in the space sector and industrial players in the sector;

– Promote actions to attract qualified workers in the Space Economy sector to the Region and, in particular, to the Colleferro area.

Awareness Actions for Citizenship

The Lazio Region and Colleferro define a diffusion action among the population of Colleferro – and, in perspective, also of the Lazio Region – of information related to Space, in particular within the school and university context, with specific attention to the profile of the Space industries, the impact of their activities on the enterprises of the territory, and the possible employment effects.

Attracting Foreign Investments

The Lazio Region and Colleferro collaborate, within the framework of the action carried out by the regional administration on the economic development plan and in particular in the Invest in Lazio programme, to increase the attractiveness of the territory for investments, including from abroad, in the space sector.

Structuring dialogue with the university world

The Lazio Region and Colleferro shall develop a synergistic action, together with the University and training world of Lazio, to favor the creation of training courses related to the new professions connected to space technology, also through the involvement and collaboration of local schools.

Partnership Networks

The Region and the Municipality undertake to involve other institutional or entrepreneurial partners in order to facilitate and support the realisation of initiatives or activities deriving from aerospace ones.
